The Economic and Statistical Research Bureau (ESRB) provides revenue analysis for proposed changes to the state’s income tax laws, and other economic and statistical analyses to the Legislature, the Administration, the three-member Franchise Tax Board, and the general public. ESRB also provides economic and statistical support to departmental programs, such as: Audit, Collections, Legal, and Operations. ESRB strives to maintain an environment of responsiveness to our customers, and to provide timely, accurate and objective analyses.
Under the general direction of the Revenue and Data Analysis Section Manager, the Administrator II manages a highly skilled technical staff that is responsible for revenue analyses, performing quality assurance activities and annual updates for proposed changes to the state’s income tax laws

Working Conditions

  • This position requires 4 or more days in the office per week. It is designated office-centered and may be eligible for some remote work based on departmental guidelines and operational need.
